Rockery Plaque Details

The Rockery Plaques can be found in Lavender Walk of Robin Hood Cemetery and the Lilac Garden of Remembrance for Babies and Children at Woodlands Cemetery.

The plaques feature 6 different designs, Woodland Walk, Sunset Stroll and Reflections which are suitable for adults and To the Moon and Back, Butterfly or Over the Rainbow which are suitable for children and can be inscribed with up to 80 letters.


Cost

The inscribed plaque includes up to 80 characters and spaces.

Please note that the length of your inscription will determine the size of the letters on the plaque as the manufacturer will make the lettering smaller to fit longer inscriptions onto the plaque.

Inscribed plaques are non-refundable after they have gone into manufacture.

Should you wish to alter the inscription within the lease period, a replacement can be purchased at the appropriate fee by contacting the Cemeteries and Crematoria Team.


Terms and Conditions

The 3 year lease agreement is for the plaque only.

Memorials can take up to 8 weeks to be manufactured.

The rockeries and shrub beds must not be decorated with items such as vases, flower containers, ornaments or wind chimes, these will be removed by the cemetery.

Rockery plaques are allocated on a plan and the final position of all plaques is at the discretion of the Manager.

Solihull Council reserve the right to amend the Cemetery and Crematorium Regulations, the design of the plaques and the position of the plaques without notice to lease holders.

Should you wish to alter the inscription within the agreement period, a replacement can be purchased at the appropriate fee.

If you change your name or address during the period of the lease it is your responsibility to notify the cemetery.

At the end of your lease you may renew.
