All Private gardens are the property of Solihull MBC, the 20 year lease agreement is for the memorial stone and rights only.
Payment for the private memorial garden is made directly to Solihull MBC. Following payment you must organise the inscription you would like on your stone with our contracted stonemason, Bannocks Memorials Solihull, 117, Streetsbrook Road, Solihull.
The fee includes an inscription of up to 70 letters. Additional lettering can be arranged directly with Bannocks and additional fees paid directly to them.
Memorials can take up to 16 weeks to be manufactured.
Plants must not exceed 30cm in height and must not grow over the boundary of the garden.
Plants found to be in breach of these conditions and regulations will be removed or cut back.
The fences and areas in front of the private gardens must not be decorated with items such as vases, flower containers, ornaments or wind chimes, these will be removed by the cemetery.
Private gardens are allocated on a plan and the final position of all gardens is at the discretion of the Manager.
Solihull Council reserve the right to amend the Cemetery and Crematorium Regulations, the design of the memorial stone and private gardens and the position of the gardens without notice to lease holders.
Should you wish to alter the inscription within the agreement period, a replacement can be purchased at the appropriate fee.
If you change your name or address during the period of the lease it is your responsibility to notify the cemetery.
At the end of your lease you may renew.
