The Memorial Posts are available in Blue Pearl only and are 18 inches high. They are situated in the shrub beds around the Garden of Tranquility at Robin Hood Cemetery or the Gardens of Remembrance and the Bluebell Wood at Woodlands Cemetery.

Below, up to 5 lines of text can be specified for the inscription.
In order to ensure that an inscription will fit onto the granite parcevall, please note the following information:
• The inscription is all the same font size. Due to the tablet being oval less characters will fit on the first two lines and the last two lines.
• We suggest using line three and four for the name.
• Do not forget to include spaces in your inscription. A space counts as a character.
• We will centre the text on the tablet.
• The inscription will be in block capitals.
• The inscription should contain the name of the deceased.
Please also ensure you provide the correct dates and spelling of names.

Memorial Post Details

The Memorial Posts are situated in the shrub beds around the Garden of Tranquility at Robin Hood Cemetery or the Gardens of Remembrance and the Bluebell Wood at Woodlands Cemetery.


Cost

Inscribed posts are non-refundable after they have gone into manufacture.


Terms and Conditions

The 3 year lease agreement is for the post only.

Memorials can take up to 8 weeks to be manufactured.

The areas around the posts must not be decorated with items such as vases, flower containers, ornaments or wind chimes, these will be removed by the cemetery.

Memorial Posts are allocated on a plan and the final position of all posts is at the discretion of the Manager.

Solihull Council reserve the right to amend the Cemetery and Crematorium Regulations, the design of the posts and the position of the posts without notice to lease holders.

If you change your name or address during the period of the lease it is your responsibility to notify the cemetery.

At the end of your lease you may renew.

The post will be removed if the option to renew the lease is not taken up.

Liability cannot be accepted for damage caused to a memorial by persons other than Bereavement Services employees.
